Installation to perfection for the ThyssenKrupp headquarters in Essen.
The ThyssenKrupp headquarters is the corporate headquarters of ThyssenKrupp AG in the western quarter of the city of Essen and the centre of the so-called Quartier. The neighbourhood is the core of the “Krupp Belt” urban development project and stands on the very site where Krupp has its roots with the cast steel factory in Essen. The neighbourhood’s open-plan campus consists of a total of 13 buildings and offers its employees an exclusive and modern working environment.
The cost of the first construction phase of the headquarters totalled over 300 million euros. As part of this construction phase, Neugebauer Elektrotechnik GmbH realised extensive installations in the area of high and low voltage systems. Neugebauer was responsible for the lighting in the outdoor facilities in the heavy current installations segment. With great energy and in-depth expertise, Neugebauer employees developed a lighting concept tailored to the individual requirements of the outdoor area. Installed sustainably and reliably, the traditional site has since shone in a completely new light. Neugebauer Elektrotechnik GmbH also delivered convincing work in the field of communication systems. From the planning of the optimum measures to the professional implementation, the comprehensive data networking of the individual parts of the ThyssenKrupp headquarters building was carried out. The result: a reliable and, above all, forward-looking solution.
Following the construction of the new ThyssenKrupp headquarters in Essen, the existing Q4 building was integrated into the overall campus concept and also refurbished. Neugebauer Elektrotechnik GmbH carried out the electrical engineering work as part of this project.
